Every call gets a reply. Even the ones you miss.
convertCall watches the calls landing on your business phones — answered or not — and fires back an instant text from that same handset. Your customer never dials again wondering if anyone's there.
One login, any number of handsets · No new phone number · Start free, no card required
From ringtone to reply, automatically
No dispatcher, no manual texting, no missed follow-up. The handset that took the call sends the reply — so the number your customer sees is the one they already called.
A call lands
Answered or missed, on any handset signed in to your account.
Your template fires
The handset sends your customer a text within seconds — no one has to notice the call happened.
Duplicates are skipped
The same caller is replied to once per period — a day by default, yours to lengthen — never spammed.
It's on the record
Every call and reply lands in your audit log — who, when, from which handset, confirmed by the radio.
A handful of automations, each with its own switch
convertCall is a device automation app: a short, fixed list of things it does on its own, all visible and all optional. Nothing else happens in the background.
Reply to calls by SMS
The caller gets your message the moment the call ends. Write one template for everyone, one for each kind of call, or a separate one for a caller who's heard from you before — and choose whether to reply to all calls, missed calls only, or answered calls only. We do not read your messages.
Business hours
Set the days and times you're open, in your own time zone — overnight shifts included. Outside those hours, send a separate "we're closed" message, or nothing at all.
Reply to calls by WhatsApp
Not an automatic message: a reply's template can include a link to a WhatsApp number you set for that phone, so a caller who'd rather text can carry on there instead. The caller decides whether to send it — convertCall never does.
WhatsApp button on sent replies
Every sent reply in History gets a button that reopens WhatsApp, addressed to that caller, with the same words already typed in. We do not read your messages — nothing goes out until Send is tapped inside WhatsApp itself.
Call-back reminder
If a missed call hasn't been returned after a delay you choose, that phone gets a notification with a Call button. It checks the phone's own call log to know — nothing is ever sent anywhere for this.
Daily summary
One notification a day, at a time you choose, stating how many calls came in on that phone and how many were replied to — a quick read at the end of a shift.
The controls that keep it safe to leave running
Once-per-period rule
A caller who rings five times in an hour gets one text, not five. The period is your setting, enforced server-side.
First-time callers only
Reply once to each caller, ever — an introduction on first contact — and never again to a number already replied to.
Returning callers
Write a separate reply for someone who's had a message from you before — a welcome-back line, chosen automatically by their call history.
Blacklist
Block a number from ever getting a reply — spam callers, wrong numbers, anyone you choose.
Dual-SIM aware
On a dual-SIM phone, the reply goes out from the same SIM the customer called — automatically, no setup needed.
Any number of handsets, one login
Add a phone to the front desk, the warehouse, or a second location — same account, same rules.
Full audit trail
Every call and every reply, searchable by caller, handset, or status — confirmed by the carrier, not assumed.
Real multi-tenancy
Each customer's templates, handsets, blacklist and history are walled off — nobody sees another's data.
Only the access it actually needs
Sending a text and reading who called requires restricted Android permissions — ones Google Play doesn't allow an app to hold unless it's the phone's own messaging app. That's why convertCall is installed from this site rather than the Play Store. Every permission it asks for is below, in full, not buried in a settings menu.
Call log
Reads the number of the call arriving now — Android withholds it otherwise — and, only if the call-back reminder is on, checks one number against the phone's own log. Never uploaded.
Send SMS
Sends the reply without anyone touching the phone — the entire product. We do not read your messages.
Phone state
Knows the phone is ringing, and on a dual-SIM phone which SIM the call came in on.
Notifications
Keeps the app running between calls, and powers the call-back reminder and daily summary.

Frequently asked
Does my customer need to install anything?
No. Replies are plain SMS text messages sent from the same number they called — nothing to download, nothing to open.
Who pays for the SMS itself?
You do, through your own carrier — the reply is sent from your handset's own SIM using its regular SMS pack or plan, not through a gateway we run. Your convertCall subscription covers the software that decides whether and when to reply; any per-SMS charge your carrier applies is separate and between you and them.
What if the same person calls three times in a row?
They get one reply per period, not one per call. The period defaults to a day and is yours to lengthen from your dashboard.
Can I stop replying to specific numbers?
Yes — add any number to your blacklist and it's excluded from replies immediately, everywhere.
How many phones can send replies?
Up to 2 on Base, up to 6 on Standard, up to 12 on Supreme, no cap on Unlimited. Any handset signed in with your account login can take calls and send replies — there's nothing to enrol per phone.
Is our data separated from other customers?
Completely. Templates, handsets, blacklist entries and call history are scoped to your account — it's structurally impossible for another customer to see them.
How do we install it on our phones?
From this site's download page, not the Play Store: Google doesn't allow an app to send SMS on its own unless it's the phone's messaging app, which convertCall deliberately isn't. The page walks through the two extra taps Android asks for, and the app tells you when an update is ready.
Does the call-back reminder read my call history?
Only while you've switched it on, and only for the one number that just called: after a missed call it checks that phone's own call log to see whether it's been called back. That check runs entirely on the phone — the result is never sent to us, to the business, or anywhere else. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Does convertCall read my WhatsApp messages?
No — we do not read your messages. The app holds no
permission that lets it see inside WhatsApp. A template can include a link that opens WhatsApp with a
drafted message, and a sent reply can be reopened in WhatsApp the same way from your History screen —
both are just a wa.me web link, the same as tapping one on any website. Once WhatsApp
opens, convertCall is out of the picture entirely: it doesn't see what's typed, doesn't know if
Send was tapped, and has no way to find out.
Stop losing customers to a ringtone.
Tell us about your phone lines and we'll set you up — the Base plan is enough to see it answer real calls. Already a customer? Sign in or get the app.
